I received a call from the summer blast directer last night, and she asked me if I would run the sound and power point instead of working with the 5th graders. I went in today and did not know what to expect. I was running crazy trying to find the power point presentation to put on the overhead from the computer. Finally found it, and from then on it was smooth sailing. It shouldn't be that hecktic tomorrow, but who knows.

God Bless!!!

---James

PS//I Will write tomorrow!!!
Summer Blast at Church

Wow tomorrow starts summer blast, and its going to be good. Working in the gym is not only physically and emotionally good for you. That is working your physical heart. The type of working out the heart that I want to talk about is that spiritual workout. When you go to church or read your Bible is not only making your physical life feel good but your spiritual life. It helps you be more compassionate and understanding when your spiritual heart is being worked out in a good way, not a bad way. A bad way would be to neglect your spiritual heart. Because your spiritual heart is what blesses and praises the Lord Jesus Christ. It helps you live in a long and healthy life not only in this world but in the world to come. You ask what is going to church have to do with me. Let me cutting up it has everything to do with you. Going to church grows you into the man/woman/son/daughter that God wants you to be. It also helps you meet other brothers and sister in Christ that can help grow you. As it is written in John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only be gotten from that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. That's what we strive for the eternal life in the next world. If your heart is set on good things, like serving one another, allowing others to be a part of your life. You have blessed God. But she must serve others and accept God's free gift of eternal life.

Romans 3:22-24 (New International Version)

22This righteousnessfrom God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. Thereis no difference, 23forall have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely byhis grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

if you accept his free gift of eternal life, God no longer considers you an enemy but a part in his family. all you have to do is say this simple prayer

Dear Jesus I know that I am a sinner, I know that I will always have sin in my life. I ask for you to come into my heart and take away my sin. I ask for your forgiveness and your blessing. I love you and want to bless you and all I do. I accept you know my heart this day..

In Jesus name AMEN

if you have said this prayer I say welcome to the kingdom of God. I petition you to find a church, whether Baptists or nondenominational and get plugged in serving the Ministry and serving one another in love. It's all about Loving God and Loving People.

God bless you now and in all your future endeavors.

All that is within me cries for you O Lord to be glorified, God with us.

Whitewashed tombs WOW

Whitewashed Tombs

Matthew 23:27-28 (New Living Translation)

27 “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees.Hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs—beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people’s bones and all sorts of impurity. 28 Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.

WOW Whitewashed Tombs filled with dead peoples bones. Just wonder what it would be like to be called that by Jesus. Wait he is calling us that, but there is a difference in calling the teachers of religious law and Christ followers that. Christ followers are forgiven of being filled with dead peoples bones because they have been saved through faith. That said non-Christ followers are in the same boat as the teachers of religious law are because they are not saved but can be by accepting the gift of Salvation through faith. Below is the reason that I am talking about being saved through faith.

Hebrews 11:6 (New Living Translation)

6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

The reason Jesus called them whitewashed tombs is because they tricked people by looking like they believed and had faith on the outside, but on the inside they closed their minds and hearts from believing that Jesus is God's Son and it still happens today. There is still time though for change to happen in people lives, but realize that the time to change is limited because Christ could come back any day and at any time. Morning, noon or night.

God Bless!!

---James

School

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted for a while been so busy.

Ask, Seek, Knock

7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?

I am going to put this passage in modern day terms, If your son and or daughter asks you for a cup of water will you give it to him/her. I doesn't hurt to ask but when you ask you need to be prepared that the answer might be no. If you ask you heavenly father for something the answer nine times out of ten will be yes. Now if it is yes it may not be in your time that he gives it to you. It might be the time you need it the most not when you want it the most. Let me give you an example. I am in college and I asked my landlord if he would allow internet hook-up in my room, he said yes, BUT it didn't happen right away. It happened when I needed it the most and that is when my school work got intense. My landlord didn't know that, BUT God did and he prompted my landlord to hook-up the internet. Believe me I wanted it right away, that wasn't God's plan.

God Bless!!!

James

All Glory be to my Lord Jesus Christ

Trials

What About Trials,

When asking about trials. Our normal reaction is anger, frustration etc. Afterall we are a stubbern creation of the father in heaven. However what does the B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instuctions Before Leaving Earth) say when it talks about Trials.

James 1:2-5 (New International Version)

Trials and Temptations

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

How often do we consider it pur joy, NOT OFTEN ENOUGH RIGHT. It is our sinful nature to get upset, angery when someone does us wrong. Think of this, How often do we do wrong to Jesus when we Sin. All the time. Does Jesus get mad at us, HUMMMMM NO. What does he do, HE FORGIVES. In the passage below Jesus is dieing on the cross and he says WHAT. LOOK AT THE PASSAGE BELOW

Luke 23:34 (New International Version)

34Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

That wasn't the end though was it. NO what happened to him next HE HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD. See the passage below.

Luke 24:1-7 (New International Version)

The Resurrection

1On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' " Because he was risen frome the dead, those that believe in him are forgiven, PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE. ONCE SAVED ALWAS SAVED.

DIVISION WOW What a strong word. Yeah it is!!! The reason for division is because people of this world just don't care about others. Either they are afraid to approach the person they have the problem with or they are just division seekers. Jesus had something to say about division in the church, in this day and age I believe it falls under companys of employment and organzations as well.

A Brother Who Sins Against You

Matthew 18:15-18 (New International Version)

15"If your brother sins against you,<sup class="footnote" value="[<a href="#fen-NIV-23741b" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23741b" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23741b" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23741b" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23741b" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23741b" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23741b" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23741b" title="See footnote b">b</a>]">[b] go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. 16But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.'<sup class="footnote" value="[<a href="#fen-NIV-23742c" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23742c" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23742c" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23742c" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23742c" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23742c" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23742c" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23742c" title="See footnote c">c</a>]">[c] 17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

18"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be<sup class="footnote" value="[<a href="#fen-NIV-23744d" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744d" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744d" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744d" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744d" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744d" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744d" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744d" title="See footnote d">d</a>]">[d]bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be<sup class="footnote" value="[<a href="#fen-NIV-23744e" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744e" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744e" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744e" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744e" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744e" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744e" originalAttribute="href" originalPath="#fen-NIV-23744e" title="See footnote e">e</a>]">[e] loosed in heaven.

JESUS was very passionate about this, he thought it was important and so do I because it prevents division within the organzation, work place and the body/church. It also gives life to UNITY.

New Day

Hello Again,

Sorry i haven't Blogged in a while been busy with college, homework etc. Anyway I wanted to give an update on what God has been trying to drill into my head and that is, Everyday you wake up is a new day. You say yeah we already know that it is a new day. I ask you do you really know what is going to happen on this new day. Of course not. You can't predict the future. The bible says not to worry about tomorrow.

Matthew 6:34-36 (New International Version)

34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

When you wake up you start to rush and worry. Do I have this or that? I am late for work. Part of the reason I believe it says not to worry about tomorrow is because you might be trying to finish work today and the day is not going right for you, so your work builds up and you start thinking I have this to do and that to do. A new day means you wake up and problems that happened the day before when you were worrying about what to get done the day after didn't need to happen because if you woke up in a positive attitude you would need to worry in the first place. You need to take it a day at a time. If something doesn't get done one day it will get done another day. It is not a life or death situation. When your at work and a call comes in that a family member is in the hospital and they are on their death bed, don't worry explain the situation to you supervisor and he/she should let you take care of your family.

Christ-Mas/Christmas

What is Christ-Mas/Christmas

Christ-Mas is basically Christmas.
